Salvation

This is a topic that most Christians are in agreement with...salvation is the one thing you can not obtain by "works" (doing good deeds, living right, not doing bad things, attending church or being a good giver "financial"). If interested, here's a good site to read about this: by David Coble

Paul said it best, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8,9 (taken from the KJV)

To have the faith in order for you to receive the promised gift of salvation comes from you hearing the Word of God on this subject and believing in what you have heard. So, how can one have faith if they have not heard and how can they hear if no one preaches the Word?

Here it is:

Romans 10:9-10
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So if you believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you shall be saved. Confession is the key word here...you must proclaim Jesus as Lord.

To receive salvation today pray this prayer with me now:

Father God, I confess now that Jesus is Lord and I believe that you raised Him from the dead. I proclaim Jesus is now my Lord and my savior right now in Jesus Name, Amen.
